Ask Cobee Bryant Anything❗️

Cobee Bryant is coming back to Kansas for a season that’s gonna be as hyped as we’ve had in a long, long time. And he’s answering questions exclusively from KUHearings subscribers!

Bryant’s ask from KU fans is to subscribe to his YouTube channel in return as he works to grow his brand.

While the answers will be free for everyone to read, asking Bryant questions will be limited to VIP subscribers. He’s answering them tomorrow (Sunday) at noon. The answers will come straight to your inbox via this newsletter.

I will send the form to submit questions to anyone who upgrades before the AMA. You can email me as well if you don’t get it.

I’m doing this through NIL as a way to give back to the team and KUHearings subscribers.

Please consider supporting the work happening here by upgrading to VIP. It takes a considerable amount of time and effort to keep bringing you exclusive content you won’t get anywhere else.

(Also, yes this newsletter looks different. I’m working on a redesign right now!)

We’ll get to as many questions as possible. Send in your questions!

KU Football Reportedly Loses Top Assistant Coach

It appears the Jayhawks are losing top assistant coach in DBs coach and Co-DC Jordan Peterson to his alma mater, Texas A&M. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the reporter below is credible from the Texas A&M side of things.

This would be a big loss for the Jayhawks. Peterson was key in bringing players like Bryant back and was recently promoted to Co-DC. As always, I’ll keep you posted as I learn more

3 KU-WVU Questions ❓

The Jayhawks just lost 91-85 to West Virginia. Because it’s a pretty fresh wound, I’ve decided to keep this one brief. Here are three big questions I have right now:

Is Hunter Dickinson healthy?

We know the big man’s knee has been banged up. I’ve Heard it’s a little worse than KU has let on, but still didn’t think there was much concern around it. Dickinson had just three rebounds in the first 35 minutes of this game. He finished with five. Dickinson didn’t look 100% to me.

Is this downside to Johnny Furphy?

Furphy gave up critical rebounds late in this one. I’ve Heard KU’s hesitation to play him more minutes earlier was due to Furphy’s strength and athleticism potentially costing the Jayhawks in certain matchups. Look for the freshman to put on some pounds this offseason. Hopefully, it’s a lesson Furphy learned today and will help him course correct moving forward.

Can KU still win the Big 12?

The margin of error is getting slim for a team that was already dealing with a tighter window than we’re used to. Of course, the Jayhawks can still win it, but they’re gonna have to turn things around, like, now. Winning today would’ve gone a long way.

Kansas is 3-2 in conference play. Luckily Houston has the same mark right now and Texas Tech (3-1) is down double digits at home to BYU at the time of writing this email.

Also, I’m pretty sure I know the answer to this… but give the play below another watch and tell me if you think it was a foul or not.

Was it a foul?
