2023 4-Star Chris Johnson Decommits
I’m HEARING 4-star 2023 guard Chris Johnson will not play for Kansas. The Jayhawks found out late this week that Johnson wouldn’t be moving into the dorms with the rest of the incoming players, who started arriving yesterday.
I’ve Heard Johnson was uneasy with KU’s transfer portal additions. I wrote on April 20 #420.
There's been speculation around four-star commit Chris Johnson potentially re-opening his recruitment after he removed his commitment post from his Instagram. While KU could use the extra scholarship, I'm hearing his status is currently unchanged. However, he's closely watching what KU does in the portal. I'm guessing this is where the fourth scholarship spot could come for KU. Just a guess.

With only 10 scholarship players, I’m Hearing KU will now try to add one more player for this coming season. However, there’s no set plan currently for where the player will come from.
