Elmarko Jackson Out for Season
Kansas sophomore guard Elmarko Jackson is expected to miss the entirety of the upcoming season after tearing his patellar tendon in a scrimmage at Bill Self Basketball Camp on Tuesday. His full rehab will take 12 months, according to the school.
Our thoughts are with Elmarko and we wish him a speedy recovery ❤️💙

The injury occurred as Jackson took a hard hit going to the rim, according to multiple people in attendance. The scrimmage came to an immediate end after the training staff helped him off the court.
It’s a significant blow to the Jayhawks this season. I’d Heard Jackson looked like a much improved player after an up-and-down freshman season. It appeared he put a ton of work into his game this offseason.
Jackson was set to come off the bench as a key rotation player this year. He was an important part of KU’s plan, providing much-needed back-court depth and athleticism.
The Jayhawks technically have two scholarship spots remaining. I’d Heard the plan before Jackson’s injury was to add one more player. I’m not sure if the news changes KU’s plan.
They were already working on bringing in another guard, and I’ve got a name to share for VIP subscribers below.

⛳️ This is awesome. Senior Gunnar Broin will be the first active KU golfer to play in a major PGA TOUR Championship after qualifying for next week’s U.S. Open.
🏀 Christian Braun and Tyon Grant-Foster were back in town for KU’s scrimmage yesterday.
