Cobee Bryant Prediction 🔮
KU’s star cornerback Cobee Bryant will announce if he’s entering the transfer portal or not when he gets 3,500 subscribers on YouTube. He’s at 3,400 subscribers as of Wednesday morning. Everyone give him a follow and help him grow his brand.
👉 Follow Cobee.
I’m ready to make a call on how this plays out, too.
Everything I’ve Heard makes me think Bryant will return to Kansas next year.
I’m feeling really optimistic about this right now. I’m not 100% sure, but I’ve Heard enough to lock this one in.
Official Prediction: Bryant will be a Jayhawk next season. 🔮🤫
KU Lands Two Portal Players 😯
Kansas football had a good day Tuesday. It landed two of its top portal targets, including one with a last name you may be familiar with.
Devin Dye | Safety | Utah State | Commitment Tweet
Dye notched 81 tackles and seven pass breakups for Utah State this season. It’s a homecoming of sorts. Dye’s brother, Jalen, also plays for the Jayhawks. They’re both the son of former Kansas City Royals outfielder and MLB All-Star Jermaine Dye.
Dye ranked as Utah State’s third-best defensive player this year by Pro Football Focus. His grade for the year was an above-average mark of 71.9. He has two years of eligibility remaining and should help fill the void left by Kenny Logan.
(It was a perfect test case for the new Scoops Texts feature! KU Hearings VIP subscribers got the text yesterday after Dye’s commitment.)
Devin Wudke | EDGE | Youngstown St | Commitment Tweet
This is a big-time pickup for the Jayhawks. Wudke picked KU over Boise St., with his final year of eligibility.
The DE had four sacks and 11 hurries for Youngstown St. this year. His PFF grade of 76.8 would’ve been KU’s sixth-best mark this year.
The Jayhawks could use the extra help on the D-Line, especially with Gage Keys hitting the transfer portal and committing to Auburn.
I’m a little worried that Keys getting SEC NIL money could get the attention of other KU players who could follow suit and hit the portal.
As always, I’ll keep you posted.
Quick National Signing Day Update
The Jayhawks are on the verge of landing what appears to be one of their best high school classes in a long time.
They’ve officially signed two four-star DEs Deshawn Warner and Dakyus Brinkley. Warner is the highest-ranked high school player in KU’s history. He even picked up offers from Ohio State and Michigan after his commitment to Kansas.
The Jayhawks also signed playmaking quarterback Isaiah Marshall. If you haven’t seen it already, his game-winning touchdown in the state title game is a MUST watch.👇
The only ‘unexpected’ pickup for KU might be the worst-kept secret for those who follow KU football recruiting. The giveaway was on Tuesday when new offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes’ son, Greydon Grimes, decommited from Baylor. Greydon made it official on Wednesday.
You didn’t need to be a recruiting expert to figure this one out 😂.
A Surprise Thank You 👏🥹

I want to shout out KUHearings subscriber Colter. He surprised his father with a VIP KUHearings subscription for the holidays, and his dad wrote me a little note that blew me away. After talking further, his dad and I thought we could surprise him back 😁
Colter is headed to Lawrence for his freshman year at KU. His college career is a little delayed because he went to Air Force basic training AND firefighter training first. Colter, I’m so appreciative to have you here and to learn stories like this.
Thank you and Rock Chalk!
