How KU fans can help Big Brothers Big Sisters KC ⬇️

What: KUHearings is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters KC to get as many Bigs and Littles into the KU-Houston game as possible.

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City currently serves 1,100 youth (Littles) in Kansas City.

• The program provides strong mentors and role models (Bigs) who help KC youth navigate different challenges growing up and finding themselves.

How You Can Help:

• It’s a ticket drive! Transfer your unused tickets, purchased tickets, or parking passes to help get Bigs and Littles to the game!

• Transfer your tickets to: KUHearings@gmail. Name: Mike Vernon.

  • I'll send them along to Big Brothers Big Sisters from there.

• You can buy tickets right now for $20 here.

• The last day to transfer your tickets is October 16.

We’ve already sent 51 tickets to Big Brothers Big Sisters KC! I bought 10 to kick things off and posted about it. KU fans did their thing from there.

Let’s keep it going and do something positive as a KU fans together!

Sneak Peek: Allen Fieldhouse Renovations 📸

Thanks to multiple members of Scoopsmafia who provided photos of Allen Fieldhouse for the KUHearings community! This wouldn’t be possible without you.

What’s new at Allen Fieldhouse:

• Video boards now sit in two upper corners.

• The other two corners have new signs and slogans in place of where the top rows of seats used to sit (see below).

• Circus font replaces Trajan on the court underneath the basket and near the sidelines. Not center court.

• The new court appears to be darker wood.

• Center court is unchanged, I believe...

• The new center video board will have larger screens.

• Total capacity drops from 16,300 to 15,300.

• More chair backs have been added to make both sides equal.

• Concourse and Donor areas expanded and improved.
