I continue to Hear the Jayhawks are returning to their iconic circus-font jerseys next season and beyond. I first shared chatter about the jersey change on Dec. 18, 2022, and again last July.

And it seems KU’s tweet yesterday just about confirmed the Hearings.

I believe the jersey change is part of a larger KU Athletics rebranding effort led by Travis Goff. I’d anticipate primarily circus or block lettering for both football and basketball jerseys going forward (block for football, circus for hoops).

The idea isn’t entirely new. The Jayhawks have rolled out circus font uniforms as an alternate the last few seasons.

Kansas moved away from Circus jerseys in favor of Trajan in 2007. Ever since the change, KU fans have pushed for a return to circus.

It seems we’re getting that wish. And it’s no longer a secret.

It’s KU Basketball Camp Time

I just want to share a quick thank you for supporting the work I’m doing at KUHearings. More than 14,000 KU fans trust the work I’m doing here, which is so far beyond what I ever expected.

It’s not lost on me that KU’s success is incredibly important to you, as it is me. My hope is that an informed and engaged fanbase is a better fanbase for KU Athletics.

We’re building this KU Community and newsletter together. Please send me your feedback, story ideas, thoughts, and more anytime. Your input directly shapes the stories you’ll read about.

I know I’ve been pushing VIP upgrades a lot this offseason, but I do put a considerable amount of time into this. And I believe what I’m offering can elevate the KU fan experience for those who want it (you can upgrade here… it truly means a lot. I had to pitch it! 😉).

Mostly, I just want to thank you for being here, for reading the newsletter, and for sharing it with your KU friends and family. Even telling others to sign up goes such a long way in sustaining this site for the long haul.

I take your trust seriously, and I thank you for reading.

Rock Chalk.
