Quick Hunter Dickinson Update:
I was wrong about today being the day for Hunter Dickinson’s announcement. I once again am Hearing tomorrow (Thursday) should be when we get some news.
My current fear is there may be some confusion within my sourcing about a “decision” vs. the “announcement.”
Keep reading for potentially related news… 👀
I'm now Hearing a Hunter Dickinson announcement is expected to come tomorrow.
Sorry folks, had thought it would be today. Not hiding from it. Moving target here. Current thought is tomorrow. #KUbball

Kyle Cuffe Expected to Transfer
I’m Hearing sophomore guard Kyle Cuffe is expected to enter the transfer portal after two quiet seasons with the Jayhawks. The news was first reported by Michael Swain of 247 Sports.
Cuffe has been expected to transfer since the season ended, but the PG wasn’t initially open to leaving KU. He’s not expected to get much playing time next season. On March 19, I listed Cuffe as “definitely leaving the team,” but the process dragged out much longer than expected.
The four-star guard out of high school played just six minutes in two seasons with the Jayhawks. He’s primarily known for his athleticism as a point guard but was never able to put it all together for KU.
The transfer comes at a curious time, as Kansas has one scholarship open and two major recruits flirting with them in Hunter Dickinson and Mackenzie Mgbako. Here’s what I said in the last update about Mgbako, a five-star forward previously committed to Duke.
“I’m watching this recruitment closely. I think the interest here from both parties is legitimate.”
As of now, I have no reason to change my thoughts with Mgbako. I’ll work to get an update on Dickinson when I have it.
As always, I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for your support and for spreading the scoop.
Concerned About ScoopsMafia 🤣
Every hour that Dickinson doesn’t make his decision I will take a shot.
Starting 7am yesterday.
