KU Hoops Still Recruiting for THIS Season

I shared with VIP subscribers late last week that the Jayhawks were hosting four-star wing Bryson Tucker hoping he could join the team after the first semester.

I’m now Hearing Tucker is unlikely to join Kansas this season. While it’s not yet definitive, it’s trending in the wrong direction. While he may not join this year, Tucker is still a target for the Jayhawks next season.

KU’s coaching staff isn’t done, though. I’m Hearing they’re still working to add another player to this year’s roster. The most likely option is an international prospect. (Hopefully, they can find a shooter, too).

I don’t have a name for you just yet. As always, I’ll keep you posted.

Jason Bean Update 📈

Lance Leipold said he’s “very optimistic” Jason Bean will play Saturday vs. Kansas State.

While Leipold has been known for his gamesmanship before regarding injuries, I’ve Heard a similar message from those around the team.

Bean is progressing well, and KU expects him to be its quarterback against Kansas State on Saturday.
