🏀🇫🇷 HEARING: KU Close to Landing French Big Man

I’m Hearing both sides are planning on 22-year-old french big man Brice Dessert suiting up for the Jayhawks next season, but there's a potential roadblock.

• I believe KU and Dessert are working through the VISA and/or qualifying process.

• However, the U.S. State Department stopped scheduling interviews for new student visa applications.

  • We don’t know if this is a brief pause, or could extend into the summer. ESPN has more details here.

  • To be 100% transparent, I don’t know if Dessert already applied for a visa or not. I’m connecting some dots and giving my best guess.

• TL;DR: KU wants Dessert. Dessert wants KU. It’s not done.. but my sources remain optimistic.
  

🏀 🤠 I’m also keeping an eye on Oklahoma State transfer forward Pat Suemnick. The three-year Big 12 veteran (WVU, and OSU) visited Kansas back in May. I think he’s an option for an experienced depth piece.
