A new way to rank incoming KU players

• 📺 Late Night in the Phog on ESPN+ | 6:30pm CT

• ⏰ Women’s Scrimmage ~ 7pm CT

• ⏰ Men’s Scrimmage ~7:55pm CT

KU experienced it all with Remy Martin. He embodied every possible stage of the transfer lifecycle — a full-fledged journey complete with benchings, injuries, redemption, and one big trophy at the end.

We can’t let that chaotic, beautiful season fade into distant memories.

Enter, the Remy Martin Scale — a new way to rank incoming KU players.

From the doghouse to cutting down nets in April, this scale tells you where each player’s floor and ceiling are. Here’s how it works:

• 1 Remy = You showed up, hit the doghouse, and spent the season looking for an exit.

• 2 Remys = The promise was there, but something’s off. Now, we’re wondering if you’ll even be here next year.

• 3 Remys = You’re in the rotation, but Self doesn’t trust you late in games just yet. If you start, it’s because Self is mad at someone else.

• 4 Remys = You’re a legit contributor. You’ll get too much credit when things go right and take too much heat when things go wrong.

• 5 Remys = You’re the NCAA Tournament Remy, making big plays late to win games. The vibes? Immaculate.

Here’s where the new Jayhawks land on the First Ever Remy Martin Scale.

Summary:

• Flory’s floor is 3 Remys and his ceiling is 5 Remys

• Rakease’s floor is 3 Remys and his ceiling is 4 Remys

• Shakeel’s floor is 3 Remys and his ceiling is 4 Remys

• Noah Shelby’s floor is 2 Remys and his ceiling is 2 Remys

• Diggy’s floor is 2 Remys and his ceiling is 3 Remys

• Rylan’s floor is 2 Remys and his ceiling is 5 Remys

• Zeke’s floor is 3 Remys and his ceiling is 5 Remys

• AJ’s floor is 1 Remys and his ceiling is 5 Remys
