I spent the last month building a game for KU fans. It's called The Bill Self Algorithm.
You draft your All-Time Bill Self starters and you get one sixth man pick aka “Your Remy.”
Then see if your lineup has what it takes to hang another banner in The Fieldhouse. It’s all about knowing Self’s style of basketball.
Each game takes about a minute to play.
I posted a teaser on X yesterday and got a call from 96.5 The Fan in KC asking about the post.. About one minute later, Carrington Harrison was playing it on the air.. and off we went.
More than 5,300 people played it already and drafted 37,000 lineups. Only 9.7% of the lineups got to hang a third banner in the Fieldhouse.

🏀 The major NCAA fifth-year ruling got its guardrails Sunday. The Colorado judge clarified that class-of-2022 players get a year back, but the ruling doesn’t open the transfer portal for the players. They’d have to get relief to return and transfer.
The case is being appealed, which will dictate so much for the Jayhawks.
🏀 KU is reportedly in the mix for Michigan State big man Jaxon Kohler. While I’m Hearing this has legs, Kohler isn’t even in the Portal yet. He needs to win his own court case first. Until then, there’s a limit to how real this convo can be.
🏀 No link here, but Melvin Council’s case for an extra year was extended to Friday, Aug. 13. While KU’s not counting on having him back, I think he’s got a good shot at it (just my guess).
🏀 Kansas is locked in with Players Era through 2030-31 for at least five more years in the Las Vegas event.
🏈 Fall camp is open and the QB job is not getting filled anytime soon. Leipold says there's no timetable on Zeke Marshall vs. Cole Ballard.
