🔥 It’s 51 Days to Football Season 🔥
It’s time to gear up KU football season with KUHearings partner, Homefield Apparel.
From the Warhawk hoodie pictured above to the classic campus pullover and script sweaters, I absolutely love Homefield’s gear for football season.
Thanks to Homefield for helping make KUHearings possible! Check out the Kansas collection below.

KU Unveils New Field Design 🌾
Kansas officially unveiled its new field coming to The Booth this season. The end zones immediately grab my eye. I Heard they’d be cool.. and they delivered.
KU is going with block letters (no trajan) and a wheatfield in the background of the end zone, keeping in theme with the wheat lights. Check it out.
Let me know what you think. I’ll share the results in the next Hearings newsletter (check out the midfield logo poll results below).

The Partnership
The Jayhawks rolled out an on-field sponsor and major partnership with Kansas company MMTH (pronounced Mammoth).
To be honest, I knew a big partnership was coming for KU Athletics this week. I didn’t know MMTH would be the on-field sponsor. Their logo and turf will be placed at The Booth and Hoglund Ballpark.
Beyond KU’s turf, the Meriden, KS., based company is also going to be involved with KU’s NIL and parts of the Gateway District.
I plan on learning more about the partnership and will keep you posted
(Please email me [email protected] if you know about MMTH and/or can understand the language in either press release. We’ve got some buzzwords with ‘strategic alliance,’ ‘turnkey,’ and ‘vertical integration’ 🤣)
The Midfield Jayhawk
Last week I shared a Hearing that KU decided to keep the classic, modern Jayhawk at midfield ✅, and I asked for your opinion on what I’ve Heard was a difficult decision for KU Athletics.
61.32% of you agreed with the decision to go with the modern Jayhawk (363 out of 592) votes.
The number jumps to 89% when combining your votes on agreeing with the decision and not caring as long as the team is winning.
And that leaves a totally valid 11% who wanted the Warhawk or had mixed feelings. And I get that.. KU football has been repping the Warhawk.
I personally agreed with KU’s decision. I wrote:
It's not best practice to have one massive logo at Allen Fieldhouse and go with something completely different at Memorial Stadium.
The classic Jayhawk is clean, recognizable, and maintains visual consistency with KU's most iconic venue.
Here’s the key part: I'm Hearing KU wants to save the Warhawk for special games and uniform combinations. Rolling the Warhawk out every game could make it lose its luster. KU needs ways to elevate their biggest games with fan favorites.
Give me the Warhawk games and make it a KU football tradition.
